A northwest section of the Centennial Center retail hub continues to grow as a hot-bed of casual dining and has now added another familiar local name into the mix.
Wahoo’s Fish Tacos is currently seeking permission to build a 4,885-square-foot gaming tavern three miles away at the corner of Farm Road and Durango Drive. Back at the intersection of Tropical Parkway and Centennial Center Boulevard, Wahoo’s is also preparing to slot into a 4,322-square-foot vacant corner space, a few steps from newcomer Ichi Ramen House.
The restaurant has yet to announce either expansion, or if it intends to add video gaming to this second home in Centennial. Current plywood promises its California-style fish tacos, created with wahoo or Mahi-Mahi, are “coming soon.”
Work continues right next door at bringing the first My Pie build-your-own pizza concept to Las Vegas. The 2,111-square-foot concept is a replacement for the shuttered Giani’s New York Pizza & Pasta. My Pie specializes in an East Coast crust, ready to serve after two minutes inside an 800-degree oven.
Both new arrivals join Cinnaholic, Port of Subs and the first Centennial outpost for Rolled Ice Cream.
