Red Lobster and More Headed to North Las Vegas

Officially aiming for a summer 2019 debut, the third local expansion for seafood, crab and “endless shrimp” specialists Red Lobster is headed to a major new development in North Las Vegas.

Located at the under construction Craig & Camino Al Norte mixed use center, the 5,588-square-foot casual restaurant will sit close to the Applebee’s Grill + Bar across Craig Road, not far from the intersection with Clayton Street,

The currently barren huge footprint is looking for tenants for the phased project, which also hopes to spread over Camino Al Norte and onto the vacant land behind Planet Fitness.

Early plans call for medical facilities, office space, retail opportunities, a drive-thru Starbucks, a 35,000-square-foot “entertainment” complex, and seven more dining opportunities, ranging in size from 3,265 square feet to a substantial 7,650 square feet.

So far, Red Lobster is the only confirmed restaurant on the way, a showcase for a new look for the nationwide brand, designed with a “lighter, brighter look and feel.”

Inside will feature room enough for 24 guests in the lounge, 13 at the bar, and 157 across the dining areas. By the front entrance, a pick up area will focus on serving orders to-go.
