The quality coffee craze is picking up steam in Henderson, with another new locally created venture well on its way to a debut.
DWS Coffee Roasters will launch Zen Coffee Bar at the Sunridge Village Plaza, a short distance from The Sugar Cookie and Osaka Japanese Bistro at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway.
Under construction, the 1,800-square-foot “community coffee shop” has already applied for a beer, wine, and spirit license. Sharing the progress on social media, the coffee bar will include plenty of room to lounge, among padded benches and live plants.
On the menu, “fresh, seasonal ingredients,” plus less common ideas, including “creamer with probiotics” and “matcha signature drinks.”
Also headed to Henderson, Dark Moon Coffee Roasters at the Maryland and Eastern Shopping Center and the still to be confirmed Founders Coffee expansion at the corner of St. Rose Parkway and Amigo Street.
