Brunch gets a little more exciting this weekend when chef Scott Conant’s Masso Osteria at Red Rock Resort joins the fray. His new Sunday brunch takes an Italian twist with a live DJ, food stations, bottomless drinks, and a 100-layer lasagna.
Options run the gamut. Diners can start with bottomless drinks including a Bloody Mary bar, white peach or passion fruit Bellinis, and fresh orange or aranciata rossa mimosas, priced at $25 per person.
Then there’s the live-action stations, where patrons can pick up antipasto, seasonal frittatas, that 100-layer lasagna, pizzas, desserts, pastries and rotating flavors of soft serve for $42 per person with the choice of one main dish.
On the a la carte menu, panettone French toast with seasonal berries and whipped cream for $16; lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries and single barrel maple syrup for $14; eggs Benedict with porchetta, truffle fonduta, and focaccia for $18; baked eggs with spiced herbed tomato sauce for $21; and more. Of course, pasta makes an appearance on the menu with pasta al pomodoro for $21 while Masso’s burger topped with a fried egg goes for $19.
Avocado toast topped with a poached egg ($13), quinoa granola with berries and local honey ($14), oysters on the half shell ($18), and a kale parmesan salad ($15) round out the menu.
For dessert, salted caramel budino with gianduja crumble and whipped cream and tiramisu “affogato” with mascarpone mousse, espresso, and vanilla gelato go for $11 each.
Masso Osteria’s Sunday brunch begins on Oct. 14 and continues weekly from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
