Fans of Chinatown’s Sapporo Revolving Sushi have been eagerly awaiting restaurateur Freddy Hwang’s expansion to Centennial. And now diners in the northwest have an updated timetable to opening day.
Currently applying for its beer and wine license, the 5,361-square-foot Sapporo space is aiming to launch, “approximately, end of November.”
Located at the Centennial Gateway East retail center, next door to Moo Woo Korean BBQ and facing the soon to debut Cafe Zupas, plans indicate one side of the restaurant will resemble the automated interior of the Spring Mountain Road original.
The other section will include eight stools at the bar and seating around 10 teppanyaki grills, expected to offer a similar menu to Hwang’s Samurai Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi in Henderson.
Sapporo’s sibling project, Master Kim’s Korean BBQ, arrived in Spring Valley over the summer, featuring its own “special express delivery system” delivering ingredients to each customer’s tables for cooking.
