Almost four years since the operators of the Piccadilly Circus Pizza announced plans to revamp the 2,467-square-foot space, the decade-old pizza joint will soon re-open with a new look.
Located under the Fremont Street Experience canopy and a sibling property to the souvenir store next door, 322 Pizza Bar revealed that it is aiming for a November debut. A revamped menu will include “pizza, hot dogs, Bavarian pretzels, cannolis, fresh baked cookies, beer, cocktails and wine,” with a special focus on craft beer.
The long-held plans to upgrade the site have included the 322 Bar & Bakery, pitched to serve pizza, pita sandwiches, and bakery goods, but stymied by fierce opposition to its plans to also offer gaming and and a full bar. A year later, the even more elaborate 322 Tavern hoped to create a 30-seat bar with 42 table seats, plus a 3,600-square-foot rooftop deck, hosting a deejay at least twice a week.
