Officially confirmed to be expanding to its first bricks-and-mortar location next year, fans of local favorite Oming’s Kitchen Filipino Food Truck can look forward to a permanent home in the southwest for authentic Filipino sinugba dishes.
Set to debut in the spring, Oming’s Kitchen will take over a 1,356-square-foot, built-from-scratch space on Blue Diamond Road, just west of Decatur Boulevard.
The new development is a short distance from the recently created retail center next door, already home to Walgreens, Carl’s Jr, Sharky’s, The Great Greek, Fruits and Roots, Papa Murphy’s, and Capriotti’s.
The section hosting Oming’s Kitchen will also add Little Caesars Pizza, locals Chicken Shack, and new concept Mazzoa Donuts.
Still a well-known and highly visible truck presence around the region, the Oming’s menu is inspired by “‘char-grilled, home-style and street-style BBQ grilling,” earning a very loyal customer base for its lumpia, deep fried, crispy spring rolls, and pork belly or chicken marinated in barbecue sauce, served over jasmine rice.
