On the heels of shuttering at Tivoli Village, Leticia’s Cocina announces plans to open at Fiesta Henderson on Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Chef Leticia Mitchell will serve Mexican recipes, many of which are inspired by her mother. Dishes include molcajetes with grilled top sirloin and nopales, shrimp, Oaxaca cheese, and homemade ranchera sauce; queso fundido; pozole rojo or blanco; empanadas; and chile rellenos.
The restaurant features a happy hour every Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., and from 6 to 7 p.m. only at the bar. Deals include $5 margaritas, 50 percent off wine, and $3 or $5 food items. Leticia’s will feature two-for-one Margaritas every Tuesday and all-you-can-eat tacos every Monday for $24 per person.
Leticia’s Cocina at Fiesta Henderson will be open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Back at Tivoli, a new Mexican restaurant replaces Leticia’s this winter. Leticia’s also has a location in Centennial.
