Eataly gets closer to an opening date fronting the Park MGM. The 40,000-square-foot ode to Italian food and restaurants wraps around the front of the revamped resort, acting as the new entrance once Dec. 27 rolls around.
Inside, food counters, bars, cafes, and restaurants that span the Italian genre of cuisine. Outside, al fresco dining, as well as several areas for live cooking demonstrations.
The menu at its roster of restaurants features Neapolitan pizza and pastas as well as regional Italian street food and hand-pulled mozzarella and burrata cheese. Executive chef Nicole Brisson, formerly the culinary director for B&B Hospitality Group, heads up the operation that includes Italian desserts and sweets, including house-made gelato and cannoli.
But Eataly is so much more than just a collection of restaurants; shoppers can explore cured meats, cheeses, and fresh seafood as well as imported Italian products such as bronze-extruded pasta and extra virgin olive oil. Aside from food, shoppers can find gifts and housewares.
Las Vegas marks the sixth U.S. location of the Italy-based company, which has more than 35 stores worldwide.
