A central fixture among the dining options at the Venetian’s St. Mark’s Square, Cocolini is making a move one mile up the Strip and will debut a purpose-built new venture outside the Planet Hollywood Resort.

Operated by the Four Eagles Group, Cocolini’s 48 flavors of Italian gelato were originally created “under the supervision of Chef Luciano Pellegrini,” formerly of the shuttered Valentino at the Venetian.

The new Planet Hollywood kiosk will sit close to the north entrance and the home of Gordon Ramsay Burger, featuring a similar roster of gelato found at the original location, plus “coffee roasted in Florence” as an added attraction.

An estimated opening date has not been revealed and the project has yet to reach the construction phase.

Among the other Four Eagles Group businesses still operating at the Venetian and Palazzo, the Casanova restaurant, Espressamente Illy at the Grand Canal Shoppes, the Cafe Pan creperie, and the Art of Venice retail store.
