Set to celebrate its third anniversary at the Fashion Show mall next month, the second Las Vegas location for Kona Grill might not be open for fans to enjoy its Asian-inspired menu.

Newly filed paperwork calls for an estimated $550,000 ”interior remodel” of the space, built with an original proposed budget of $1.5 million back in 2015.

Yet to be confirmed, the new filings also explain the makeover is for an unspecified “new tenant.” Kona Grill is currently not accepting any new reservations via OpenTable following its evening service on Oct. 31.

Positioned on the Strip side of the mall and one of the anchors that helped revitalize Fashion Show’s Wynn-facing plaza, the roomy 8,214-square-foot interior includes an exhibition kitchen and sushi bar, a private dining room, and 1,343-square-foot indoor-outdoor patio and bar.

It also sits right between close competitors Ra Sushi and Benihana, both owned by the same parent company. Kona Grill remains open at its original location in Boca Park, launched in 2007.
