A fast-casual switcheroo is headed to the second floor-food court at the Meadows Mall, serving up some “Memphis style” options before the end of the year.
Delta Soul, also called Delta Soul Kitchen by the mall, has been pushing to make in-roads at food courts from California to Oklahoma. The Las Vegas expansion will take over the counter-service space formerly occupied by Extreme Pita, Tony’s Mexican, and Taco Bell.
Currently hiring “energetic and outgoing personalities,” previous Delta Soul menus have included hot links, jambalaya, pulled pork, wings, smoked barbecue, a series of “Beale St. Meals” including a shrimp po’ boy, plus “Soul Bowls” of “Mississippi grits,” and “Chicken N’ Smash taters.”
Next year will also see the arrival of Round1, a Japanese-based rival to GameWorks and Dave & Buster’s that offers casual American fare, alongside its imported arcade games and ticket redemption games of skill.
