Las Vegas used to have 24-hour restaurants with a super secret Chinese restaurant hidden in the back. One of the last remaining, Fortunes inside the former 24/7 Cafe at the Palms, closed in 2014. Now the Silverton looks to resurrect that tradition with the new Su Casa, and Asian restaurant opening in early November inside Mi Casa Grill & Cantina.
The restaurant plans to serve ceviche, poke bowls, sashimi, and nigiri as well as sushi burritos, sushi rolls, and ramen.
The full-service restaurant and bar features a new design and décor with an Asian flair.
Fortunes closed at the Palms to make way for Lao Sze Chuan, which closed in 2016 after chef Tony Hu pled guilty to multiple charges including wire fraud and not reporting $9.8 million in taxable revenue.
Su Casa will open for dinner at 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and will open for lunch and dinner at 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
