Just as Las Vegas gets used to the idea of NoMad Bar with its sophisticated yet whimsical fare at the new NoMad Hotel, the restaurant comes along, ready to make its long-awaited debut on the Strip. Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara bring American classics to NoMad Restaurant on Nov. 14.
The duo behind Eleven Madison Park in New York City plan to bring large-format communal courses to Las Vegas, as well as dishes for two such as the NoMad roast chicken.
Humm and Guidara tapped French architect Jacques Garcia to create the space that was inspired by the Royal Portuguese Cabinet of Reading in Rio de Janeiro and their own Library of NoMad New York with 23-foot ceilings sitting across the hall from NoMad Bar.
Bar director Leo Robitschek of Make It Nice, who helms the nearby NoMad Bar and is the recipient of the 2014 James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program and 2017 Spirited Awards “America’s Best Bar Team” honor, oversees the restaurant’s bar program as well.
