A hit at Chinatown’s famed Seoul Plaza since 2012, Curry Zen is expanding once again and moving into its first standalone building and largest restaurant space.

Grown beyond its small, original Japanese curry-focused menu, the new location in North Las Vegas replaces a shuttered KFC and covers a roomy 2,687 square feet.

Curry Zen previously expanded to Spring Valley’ Rainbow Boulevard in 2015, introducing a quicker, “Express” approach to serving its popular creations, prepared with a heat level ranging from a basic “one,” up to the red hot level “ten.”

Located at the intersection of Centennial Parkway and Commerce Street and leased under the name of Zen Dining, already previewed dishes include tofu or chicken katsu curry, chicken karaage and curry udon.

In recent years, the Spring Mountain menu has also added fried oysters, gyoza, naan bread, curry pan, and takoyaki, alongside its 16 curry options that can each be upgraded with 20 different toppings.

Promised as “coming soon,” a more exact estimated debut date has not been revealed.
