The huge changes at the Palace Station are not yet over and two casual dining options are still racing to debut before the end of December.
Under construction, but currently hiring, Mumfresh Asian Eats from the same team behind the resort’s recently added Boathouse Asian Eatery will move into the upgraded food court, now called the Marketplace,
Mumfresh’s original counter-service location inside Westfield’s Shopping Center in San Jose, California, offers a menu specializing in noodle bowls and banh mi sandwiches made with hormone-free, zero antibiotic ingredients, and offering gluten-free and vegan options. The Las Vegas home was originally promoted as also featuring teppanyaki dishes.
And launching its first out-of-state expansion, San Diego's ¡Salud!, a self-described “Chicano Food Eatery,” will be importing its “authentic street style Mexican dishes.”
A huge hit on the West Coast and equally famed for its promotion of local artists, the ¡Salud! menu includes ceviche and mulitas, plus a full roster of tacos, such as the “califas,” topped with choice of meat and French fries, the beer-battered catfish, and the “barrio” created with “carne guisado topped with frijol, nopal & sour cream.”
Officially promised to be “coming soon,” an estimated opening date or future serving hours have yet to be announced.
