Fans of edible cookie dough will soon have a place to dip into chocolate chip cookie dough, birthday cake, and red velvet varieties right on the Strip.
San Francisco-based Doughp (pronounced like “dope”) opened in April 2017 on Pier 39 and already has plans to debut at the Miracle Mile Shops in spring 2019. Aside from the aforementioned flavors, Doughp scoops a S’mores variety, Cookie Monster with Oreo pieces in blue dough, M&Ms, Basic Bae with confetti sprinkles, Hella Nutella with Nutella and Oreos, and #VeganLyfe, a gluten- and nut-free chocolate chip variety.
Doughp also has flavors that make a less frequent apparent such as Feeling Salty? with sea salt, pretzels, and caramel bits and Matcha Dood with snickerdoodle, green tea, and white chocolate.
Witherow touts this as a 24/7 location with desserts and a coffee bar.
Since opening in 2017, Witherow reports selling “more than 250,000 scoops of cookie dough” making more than 50,000 pounds of cookie dough.
