KoMex Fusion, the restaurant that combines Mexican and Korean fare in its dishes, plans to close its Buffalo Drive location, citing the health of the owners.

On Facebook, the fusion restaurant announced the shutter to fans: “It is with great sadness we will be closing our beloved Buffalo location effective Thanksgiving Day, 11/22. The past 8 years have been great but came with a price of declining health of the owners. It is time for them to take things at a much slower pace while they rehabilitate. Decatur location will continue to serve you Monday through Saturday. Thank you all for your support.”

Once the location at 4155 S. Buffalo Drive closes, only the restaurant at 633 N. Decatur Blvd. remains.

Fusion tacos, burritos, chimichangas, flautas, and more are the specialty here.

The restaurant got its start after the family started combining meats from their Korean meat market with Mexican flavors.
