San Francisco-born in 2007 and then rapidly spreading to Southern California, Arizona and Reno, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is expanding to Las Vegas, with two locations promised for the new year.
Exact locales for both outposts are yet to be confirmed, but the Fashion Show mall is revealing the home of dozens of sandwich options made with a secret recipe “Dirty Sauce” is officially “coming soon.”
A second move will take the brand to “UNLV,” with an estimated “Jan or Feb” debut estimated for the first counter-service store to be finished.
Created by Ike Shehadeh, who also serves as the company's very engaged spokesman and inspiration for the company logo, the sandwiches have been known to create huge lines of hungry fans, intense focus on its large secret menu and an evolving menu frequently inspired by celebrities and pop culture.
Made with a choice of Dutch, French, San Francisco sourdough, whole wheat, or gluten-free breads, combinations have included the “McCarran” built with Halal chicken, barbecue and cheddar, the “Adam Richman,” created with with fried chicken, ham, and honey, and the vegetarian “Reading Rainbow,” or “James and the Giant Peach.”
