Two years in the making, the Classic Rock Coffee Co. always had faith it would expand to Las Vegas and now its two local locations are back on schedule, with the first announced to begin pouring this winter.
Already operating six national stores and surprising international locales in Abuja, Nigeria, and Kathmandu, Nepal, the original plans in Spring Valley called for a move to the still under construction Durango Post Pavilion retail hub, sitting a quarter of a mile from Ikea Las Vegas. That outpost now hopes to be ready by summer 2019.
The coffee shop will instead debut in the southeast before spring, moving into the Sprouts Center at the intersection of Silverado Ranch and Maryland Parkway. Both will be decorated with a classic rock theme and plentiful guitars and vinyl record sleeves mounted on the walls.
Still on the menu, coffee, frappes, smoothies, protein shakes, pastries, ”anytime breakfast options,” such as the “War Pig” waffle sandwich, plus the “Free Bird” flatbread turkey sandwich and “Raspberry Beret,” and “Sister Hazelnut.” flavored drinks.
