Managing to build a loyal following at the westside’s Campus Commons Food Court over the last year, Mother Falafel has closed its small counter-service space and moved six miles to the south into its first independent restaurant.
Taking over the former home of both Soulfish Poke and the recently shuttered Rotisserie Chicken at the Rainbow Sunset Pavilion retail hub, the roomier footprint has added table seating for fast and casual dining.
On the compact menu, “handmade wraps and pitas made on the spot,” including chicken shawarma pita pockets, wraps, and plates priced between $6 and $8, combo meals served with fries and a drink for an additional $3, and vegan falafel selections.
The restaurant has also brought over its free meal deal on a customer’s birthday, when a date of birth is confirmed with an ID.
Mother Falafel, 6375 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 101, 702-331-6048. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
