The former Henderson home of Hooters has undergone a revamp and is now open around the clock, transformed into a family-friendly video gaming and sports bar that encourages customers to bring their kids.
The 8,086-square-foot Zoey’s Cantina features a separate dining area to the main bar section and an outdoor patio that has been attraction since its days as Carmine’s Italian Grille & Gaming Lounge, built to offer views of “the entire Vegas Valley.”
An unusual asset for this type of venue is the space set aside for children, offering toys, video games, and TVs tuned to appropriate channels.
Located on Eastern Avenue, close to Horizon Ridge Parkway, the Mexican-inspired menu, currently offers specials of tamales, smothered burritos, chilaquiles verde, or enchiladas, all priced less than $12.
A roster of burgers, wraps, and salads joins a “bar food” menu, with dishes of blackened chicken and steamed spinach, loco moco, and chicken wings.
Happy hours are scheduled Monday to Friday from 4 to 7 p.m and midnight to 3 a.m every day and include the $10 “Uncle Greg’s Sloppy Nachos,” and $9 carne asada fries.
