Re-branding, upgrading and menu changes on the second floor of Chinatown’s Pacific Asian Plaza have created Yakuza Sushi, now open for evening and late night dining.
Located close to the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard, Yakuza Sushi sits one floor above Yobo’s shabu-shabu and ramen dishes, occupying the former home of the A18 izakaya and karaoke concept.
Built around an all-you-can-eat menu, priced at $27.95 up to 11 p.m. and $25.95 until 2 a.m., the restaurant offers a long list of sushi, soup, salads, and side dishes including tempura, shumai, and gyoza, all available as à la carte choices.
The restaurant also serves a full range of provocatively named “special rolls,” plus, baked “no rice,” spicy, and shrimp tempura creations.
Yakuza Sushi, 5115 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 228; 702-489-7778. Open daily from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., closing at 3.30 a.m. on Friday, 3 a.m. on Saturday, and midnight on Sunday.
