Launched in St. George, Utah, and expanded to the westside in 2016, The Sugar Cookie is promising its second local outpost is coming soon to Eastern Avenue, displaying its new signage as proof.
The lease was signed at Henderson's Sunridge Village Plaza back in October and the 1,200-square-foot cookie and ice cream emporium will take over suite 109, close to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway, joining new neighbors CraftKtichen and Osaka Japanese Bistro.
The original at 4624 W. Sahara Ave. bakes every day with “real butter and real cream cheese and make everything from scratch,” with no added preservatives.
On the menu, mini-frosted cookies in flavors like chocolate cherry, red velvet, coconut or lemon are available in a group of four for $2.95 and 20 for $11.95. Large versions are priced at $2.25 for a single and $18.95 a dozen.
Sugar and shortbread options range in price from $1.55 to $11.95 for a dozen and customers can also build $4.50 ice cream cookie sandwiches. Another popular item is the cookie creation that arrives in a jar in flavors including key lime pie, cinnamon roll, and apple crumble.
