Television celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis delivers on her promise of fast-casual dining with her new Pronto by Giada at Caesars Palace. The restaurant, separated into three sections, features counter service, a bar, and a retail area.
The counter serves breakfast and lunch dishes served up fast with De Laurentiis’ light California touch highlighted by lemon and tomato.
Pronto’s breakfast options include egg sandwiches, such as the antipasti breakfast sandwich with Nueske’s bacon, prosciutto cotto, mortadella, piquillo pepper mascarpone, and provolone; Giada’s oatmeal with extra virgin olive oil, Maldon salt, oranges, and almonds; a chia seed yogurt parfait; mixed berries with a white balsamic reduction; fresh-pressed juices; and smoothies.
Diners can order house-made pastries, including ham and Gruyere lattices with pesto, Mornay sauce, and tomato; chocolate cornetti; plie au chocolate-twist; scones with apricot and white chocolate or pancetta and rosemary; and more. Egg dishes are available all day.
For lunch, Pronto offers sandwiches such as a curried chicken panini; lobster roll; grilled cheese with lemon pesto; and grilled vegetable and goat cheese. The salad menu includes baby kale and chicken Caesar; lemony white bean and tuna salad; and Giada’s signature arugula, crispy pancetta, and candied lemon salad. The grilled section includes a Cacciatore chicken, citrus salmon, and Tuscan steak, while soups such as Pomodoro meatball and a soup of the day make the menu. The deli counter even includes Italian lentil salad; pecorino and bean salad, antipasto pasta salad; grilled vegetables; and a Caprese salad.
At the far right of the counter, patrons can pick up a slice of seven-layer dark chocolate mascarpone cake, or a pice of Italian rainbow and lemon chiffon cake. De Laurentiis’ lemon ricotta cookies, Sin City chocolate chip cookies, black and white cookies, and biscotti, along with tiramisu and pana cotta are also available. Even a gelato and sorbet bar dishes out chocolate olive oil, lemon basil, Nutella stracchiatella, salted caramel, and grapefruit Aperol.
Diners can then sit at the counter and bar or select a table.
