Midtown Reno now has novelty pizzas topped with penne pasta or optional French fries. Pizzava debuted 31 varieties of pizzas, with an entire section devoted to chef’s specials and breakfast styles.

That penne pasta version features marinara and mozzarella cheese while the breakfast varieties come with steak and eggs, bacon and eggs, or spinach. Pizzava sources its dough from Liberty Food & Wine Exchange from chef Mark Estee.

Cousins Batuhan Zadeh and Sabri Arslankara debuted the restaurant with early to late hours daily. The duo named the restaurant for Hookava, the hookah bar Zadeh also owns in downtown Reno, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.

Chicken wings, garlic knots, salads, pastas, and subs roundup the menu.

Of note, the restaurant’s vow to deliver pizzas within 20 minutes in the McCarran loop.
