Mini 2.8-ounce burgers that diners can customize make their way to Reno soon. Burgerim, the restaurant chain based in Tel-Aviv, plans to open at 254 W. First St. in the Riverwalk District of Reno.
Patron start by customizing their 2.8-ounce mini burgers, selecting from three buns, five sauces, 10 patties and nine toppings. Patties come in beef, turkey, chicken, lamb, chorizo, salmon, Merguez, Wagyu beef, veggie and dry-aged beef. Toppings include pineapple, jalapeño, avocado, bacon, grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, sunny-side up egg, American cheddar, and American cheese. Customers can purchase the mini burgers in sets of two, three or even 16.
The restaurant also serves chicken wings, salads, sandwiches and on the side, fries and onion rings.
The first Burgerim restaurant opened in Israel in 2011. Las Vegas is already home to one Burgerim in the southeast, with two more on the way to Centennial and the southwest.
