North Italia has already proven itself to be a huge hit on the westside at the Rampart Commons retail hub, but its sibling restaurant Flower Child will need a little while longer before it debuts its own healthy casual menu.
Apparent from the progress at the current construction site, Flower Child is now pushing for a May debut, a short delay from a promised April arrival.
Taking over 3,830 square feet, just a short walk from North Italia’s large open patio, Flower Child’s menu of “happy food for a healthy world” will be served next door to the Williams-Sonoma store.
Diners can expect vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes, including salads such as the “Vietnamese Crunch” and “Mediterranean Tabbouleh,” plus “crushed avocado toast,” and plates and bowls topped with “sustainable salmon,” “grass-fed steak” or organic tofu.
Both restaurants are part of the Fox Restaurant Concepts company, currently a James Beard Foundation semi-finalist for Outstanding Restaurateur of the year.
