BELLAGIO — A cook at the resort allegedly stole 25 lobsters valued at $1,875. KTNV reports that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Alex Hernandez on one count of embezzlement for allegedly stuffing 25 lobster tails valued at $75 apiece in his backpack as he left the resort. SACRAMENTO — Sam Marvin plans to open a second Echo & Rig inside The Sawyer, with a patio that looks at the Golden 1 Center, where the Sacramento Kings NBA team plays. Aside from a butcher, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant plans to serve breakfast and brunch with a coffee bar when it opens at the end of the month. Marvin, who lives in Santa Clarita and commutes to his Las Vegas location at Tivoli Village, plans to serve serve “50 to 60 items on the dinner menu including several seafood and vegan options.” [The Sacramento Bee]
