The signage arrived earlier this month and The Sugar Cookie has wasted no time preparing for its grand opening, officially scheduled for Thursday, March 1, at Henderson’s Sunridge Village Plaza.
Launched in St. George, Utah, and expanded to the west side of Las Vegas in 2016, The Sugar Cookie’s 1,200-square-foot cookie and ice cream store will debut close to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway, already home to CraftKitchen and Osaka Japanese Bistro.
Keeping its promise to use “real butter and real cream cheese and make everything from scratch,” the team adds no preservatives and serves its treats in “mini” and large sizes, with flavors such as chocolate cherry, red velvet, coconut, or lemon.

Customers can also purchase shortbread and build ice cream cookie sandwiches. A popular item the store ships nationally is the “ready to eat dessert jar,” created with “fresh sugar cookies, decadent frosting, and real dessert ingredients” including apple crumble, key lime, and “The Lumberjack,” made with chocolate, maple frosting, bacon and candied pecans.
While opening hours in Henderson are yet to be confirmed, the original Las Vegas location at 4624 W. Sahara Ave. serves from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
