Giada De Laurentiis now has two restaurants in Las Vegas, debuting her Pronto by Giada at Caesars Palace today with grab-and-go dishes, panini, gelato, salads, breakfast dishes, desserts and pastries, coffee, and a wine bar.
Charlotte-based Starr Design created the look of this long restaurant that snakes around Caesars Palace across from Rao’s and Mr Chow, taking over the former Payard space. De Laurentiis took inspiration for the look and feel from her own home with the look that includes natural elements such as wood, marble quartz, and pops of color.
Diners walk up to a counter to either pick up pre-made sandwiches, yogurt, or salads, or order egg dishes, panini, salads, or baked goods. On the right side of the restaurant, gelato and coffee from Counter Culture.
Egg dishes such as a pancetta and provolone sandwich or vegetarian frittata go for $9. Smoothies in mango-lime, pineapple kale, almond date, and strawberry cost $9. A muffaletta costs $15, grilled vegetable and goat cheese $13, Ham and Gruyere $14, and curried chicken panini goes for $14. Salads include a baby kale chicken Caesars for $12, white bean and tuna for $12, Waldorf panzanella for $12, and a shaker salad for $9.
Bagels ($4), chocolate cornetti ($6), scones ($5), cinnamon buns ($5), and pound cake by the slice ($5), as well as desserts such as De Laurentiis’ lemon ricotta cookies ($3), biscotti ($3), cakes by the slice ($6), and gelato ($4.50 for a scoop) round out the menu.
The center of the restaurant features a wine bar with Italian and California varieties. Bar bites such as marcona almonds, fresh mozzarella, an antipasti platter, bacon-wrapped dates, and cured meats join wine flights, cocktails and beers at the bar.
The left side of the restaurant features a boutique with copper mugs, T-shirts, Italian chocolates, and more pieces with Giada’s autograph.
De Laurentiis also has Giada, her first restaurant, at The Cromwell.
