Chocolate Chair, the first ice cream shop in Los Angeles area to serve liquid nitrogen ice cream, is headed to the Strip and bringing its “Dragon Breath” dessert to the Grand Bazaar Shops.
Taking over suite 606, a shuttered jewelry store facing the Swarovski crystal boutique, Chocolate Chair will sit very close to the retail hub’s Las Vegas Boulevard entrance.
Since March 2016, Chocolate Chair was launched to national fame when it debuted its Korean-inspired creation, “Dragon Breath,” created with “fruity cereal puffs soaked in liquid nitrogen,” a trademarked dish. When customers bite into the cereal, a white fog appears and escapes through the mouth and nostrils, “mimicking the smoke coming out of a dragon’s mouth.”
Also on the menu, nitrogen organic ice cream, sorbets, made in-house cupcakes, and nitrogen coffee and teas.
Locally, Chocolate Chair founder Esra Jung is attached to this first expansion outside of California. An official announcement or estimated arrival date has yet to be revealed.
