Quicker than expected, Riverside, California’s R Burgers is almost ready to begin serving in the southeast and is importing an uncommon collection of drive-thru menu options, including tuna melts, pastrami sandwiches, French toast and breakfast plates.

The two-year old R Burgers operates two locations in its hometown and in Las Vegas will take over a shuttered 3,230-square-foot Burger King at the Warm Springs Marketplace, close to the corner of Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road.

On the namesake burger menu, patties arrive with red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles and 1000 Island dressing and include the $6.49 El Caliente, built with a spicy house dressing, grilled jalapenos and guacamole and the $6.79 Colossal, which is topped with pastrami.

Also offering indoor dining, the Mexican selections include tacos, nachos, burritos and quesadillas, or guests can try the “classic melts,” like a $3.79 grilled cheese.

An all-day breakfast menu features pancakes, omelets, huevos rancheros, country fried steak and a $7.29 French toast plate, accompanied by three eggs, and four pieces of bacon or sausage.

An exact opening date or operating hours have yet to be announced.
