The Palms makes it official. Its new steakhouse, Scotch 80 Prime, replaces N9NE Steakhouse at the resort in May. Food & Wine reports that the restaurant with Barry Dakake back at the helm promises to serve certified Japanese Kobe beef, joining Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at SLS Las Vegas, SW Steakhouse and Mizumi at Wynn Las Vegas, and Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria as some of the few serving this delicacy.
Scotch 80 Prime also plans to feature $3 million worth of whisky on the menu. Some of the rare finds include Macallan Fine & Rare 1937 single malt scotch.
The restaurant also plans to feature caviar towers with vodka shots, seafood towers set on fire, and a Liquid Nitro Dessert Trolley serving flambéed banana splits.
The renovation is part of a $620 million makeover at the resort. N9NE Steakhouse closed last September.
