The wildly colorful dishes of California's Zero Degrees debuted in Las Vegas earlier this month and immediately created waits for more than an hour to sample a menu featuring bright red, hot Cheetos cheese fries, purple ube milkshakes, and fruit topped mangonadas.
Original plans called for the rapidly expanding national chain to first launch at The District at Green Valley Ranch. That schedule has been delayed and the company is now alerting fans they are pushing for an “expected date” in April.
Located 13 miles to the southwest of its first Vegas expansion at 4001 S. Decatur Blvd. in Henderson, Zero Degrees will take over the shuttered Oil & Vine retail store, close to Me Gusta Tacos.
On the westside, opening hours are daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Menu options include the mango slush mangonadas, matcha teas, coffee horchata, lychee crush, and spicy watermelon beverages, plus snack choices like popcorn chicken, spicy Sriracha wings, chilotes and grilled corn elotes, which can be served with melted cheese, chili powder, mayonnaise and crushed hot Cheetos.
