The “world’s largest” Steak ‘n Shake debuted at the Hooters Casino Hotel earlier this month and now a fourth local expansion is almost a month away from an opening date.
Currently hiring and informing potential employees of an April 30 launch, ”steakburgers,” melts, fries, and “hand-dipped shakes” are headed to Henderson, located at 150 St. Rose Parkway Trail, close to the shuttered former site of Hot Head Burritos.
Opening hours are yet to be announced, but are not expected to follow the lead of its Hooters sibling, which will turn into a 24-hour, seven days a week restaurant starting on Monday, April 2. The restaurant, which hopes to lure diners away from the Strip, will also be the only local branch to serve a full breakfast menu.
Steak ‘n Shake already operates at South Point and a limited menu counter-service outpost at UNLV’s Student Union food court. The Henderson menu will feature classic selections including chili, the “Frisco melt” favorite, chicken sandwiches, salads, and shakes such as the dual flavor “Side by Side” choices of “vanocolate,” “strawnana” and “banocolate.”
