NEW YORK — Comedian Jim Gaffigan stands by his man. The stand-up comic, who performs at The Colosseum at Caesars in May and July, dismisses the numerous accusations of sexual misconduct lodged against chef Mario Batali since December. “I read a little bit and I made a point of not reading too much because I like him and I know he’s really got a good soul and a good heart,” Gaffigan tells the New York Daily News. Last year, Batali created an all-liquid meal for the comedian and his wife after she was recovering from a surgery to remove a brain tumor, and couldn’t eat solids. [via Eater]

RENO — Feast, the New American restaurant in Midtown, has to change its name after co-owners Esmeralda and Alex Long reached an agreement with Station Casinos LLC over the company’s federally trademarked rights of the same restaurant name. Station Casinos, of course, has Feast Buffets at Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Sunset, Boulder, Texas, and Santa Fe Stations. [Northern Nevada Business Weekly]
