NEW YORK — Comedian Jim Gaffigan stands by his man. The stand-up comic, who performs at The Colosseum at Caesars in May and July, dismisses the numerous accusations of sexual misconduct lodged against chef Mario Batali since December. “I read a little bit and I made a point of not reading too much because I like him and I know he’s really got a good soul and a good heart,” Gaffigan tells the New York Daily News. Last year, Batali created an all-liquid meal for the comedian and his wife after she was recovering from a surgery to remove a brain tumor, and couldn’t eat solids. [via Eater]
