Craver Nation alert! Las Vegas will be losing its title as the farthest west outpost for White Castle’s famous sliders and crinkle cut fries.
Early paperwork has been filed to build a White Castle restaurant inside a new 51,050-square-foot Terrible Herbst travel center in Jean, Nevada. The one-stop, comfort zone for drivers traveling along Las Vegas Boulevard or I-15 will be located on Goodsprings Road, on the empty lot across from an existing Terrible’s gas station.
Located 240 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 28 miles to the west of the first White Castle to debut in Las Vegas, drivers will make the short detour once they arrive at Jean’s Gold Strike Hotel & Gambling Hall, already home to a 24-hour Denny’s.
Yet to be announced by White Castle, an estimated $300,000 in construction costs have been allocated to add the space to the center. Opening hours, or a possible arrival date are currently unknown, but White Castle on the Strip and its seven-month old expansion downtown are both open around the clock.

A sensation when it locally debuted at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale in 2015, diners can expect the full menu, highlighted by original, cheese, chicken breast, and fish sliders, available in “sacks,” “Crave Cases” and the 100 sandwich “Crave Crates.”
