Long in the works and now finally breaking ground, a series of major upgrades to the footprint surrounding the Silverton Casino Hotel will bring hotel rooms and new dining.
Featuring an impressive $60 million construction budget, one phase of the additions will build a 150-room Hyatt Place Hotel, located close to the Cracker Barrel restaurant which debuted in 2016. Describing the hotel rooms as “ luxurious,” guests will be able to shop and dine at the new retail hub being created closer to Blue Diamond Road and Dean Martin Drive, behind the Silverton.
The expansion, planned since 2016 includes Blaze Pizza, Firehouse Subs, Panera Bread and a drive-thru Starbucks as part of the first wave of new arrivals.
With nine acres of land available for redevelopment, confirmation of future retailers and possible formal dining options have yet to be revealed. The resort has yet to commit to an opening date.
Silverton’s indoor dining amenities still include a small Starbucks outpost, plus a Johnny Rockets, the Mi Casa Mexican Grill, Twin Creeks Steak House, WuHu Noodle, the Seasons buffet and the 24/7 Sundance Grill.
