“Refreshed and redefined” is how the resort is promoting the upgrades to Michael Mina at the Bellagio, as the seafood restaurant returns to service this weekend.
Inspired by “fresh seafood feasts at marketplace paradises and seaside villages,” improvements include an interior renovation and a private dining room with space for 24 guests.
The most prominent addition is found right by the entrance, with the expansion of the main dining area to include a new raw bar, with its own lounge. Guests on a time crunch can now sample cocktails and smaller bites, without indulging in the famed, full menu, also upgraded by chef Mina.
Among the new selections, “spice-crusted and whole-fried fish,” “hot charcoal-grilled shellfish,” “market catch fish steaks,” including yellow fin tuna, moonfish and mahi mahi, plus indulgent enhancements to its tableside caviar service
A three-course à la carte menu now joins the chef's five-course, “Signature Tasting Menu,” featuring two of the restaurant's most coveted dishes, lobster pot pie and caviar parfait.
