More than two years since first uncovered, cult concept Dutch Bros. Coffee has finally announced it is expanding in the southeast. Additional moves into the southwest and northwest are confirmed to be on the way.

With construction quickly progressing at the corner of the Windmill Retail Plaza, bordered by Windmill and Bermuda, the new drive-thru location sits seven miles to the south of the original Las Vegas spaces at 2840 E. Tropicana Ave. It is pushing to open within “the next few months.“

Since leasing the space, Ohio’s Joe Maxx Coffee Co. has debuted its own drive-thru a short distance across the parking lot.

Up next in a busy year for the brand, a takeover of the 1,014-square-foot former home of Hick’s H&H BBQ Pit Stop at the corner of North Las Vegas Boulevard and Hamilton Street, facing the North Las Vegas City Hall. The project began hiring earlier this month.

Also underway, a coffee kiosk at the under-construction Shoppes at Blue Diamond in the southwest, close to the intersection with Arville Street and not far from the Hi Scores Bar-Arcade.

And yet to be confirmed, but promised to be in the works, another locale in the northwest, hoped to launch by the end of the year, plus a long-planned move into Henderson.
