Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar is the latest restaurant to close at Downtown Summerlin.
The restaurant opened in October 2014 when the shopping center south of Red Rock Resort debuted. Crave served a mix of American cuisine and modern sushi fare for lunch and dinner.
The menu featured scallops with butternut squash risotto, a bison burger, and lamb meatballs with poblano cream sauce. A pizza oven displayed in the open kitchen area prepared flatbreads. Over at the sushi bar, specialty rolls were served on one of the decorated Hoshii, Geisha or Samurai sushi boats.
Crave is just the latest restaurant to shutter at the shopping center. Last week, Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse closed its second Las Vegas location. That restaurant sat in the Dining Arroyo section of the shopping center near Crave.
Other recent closings at the shopping center include Rice Republic, the Chinese restaurant that shuttered last May; Ribs & Burgers, the Australian-based restaurant that closed last year in March; and Australian import Gelato Messina, which bowed out last July.
