Less vocal about its Harry Potter-inspired menu and decor than its earliest days filled with long lines and sold out “butter beer lattes,” Henderson's Bad Owl Coffee is close to a debut at its first expansion to the southwest.
Still keeping its “magical” focus, the brand-new coffee shop at the intersection of Santoli Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard will take advantage of the extra space, and is adding a drive-thru and room to roast its own coffee beans on-site.
Currently looking to hire “folks with positive energy and good vibes,” Bad Owl will so far only reveal an opening date is “getting closer.”
The original location at the Eastern Commons Retail Center still features a decor to appeal to fans of the Harry Potter-saga, plus a serious menu featuring Japanese and nitrogen-infused cold coffees, a wide range of espressos including Biscoff cookie and lavender flavors, the re-named “butter brew” latte, and food options of sandwiches and waffles, avocado toasts, dessert and pastries.
Future opening hours in the southwest has not been announced.
