First revealed more than a year ago, the built from scratch, second Las Vegas home for California-based franchise Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill is almost ready for a debut.

Currently hiring, the 2,915-square-foot location will sit next to next to a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, and Fruits & Roots, close to the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road.

Las Vegas is the farthest east expansion for Sharky’s 23 restaurants, first launching in May of last year at the westside’s Crossroads Commons shopping center at the corner of Fort Apache Road and West Charleston Boulevard.

The restaurant creates a Mexican-American fusion menu with organic, non-GMO, hormone-free ingredients with a collection of vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free dishes also available.

Working under a motto of “Feel Good About Eating,” diners can choose burritos, tacos, “power plates,” stone fired pizza, and “favoritos,” including nachos, enchiladas and taquitos.

A third location in the northwest, at the corner of Craig Road and US-95, across the parking lot from the Kneaders Bakery, was also once planned, but the under construction site has yet to confirm Sharky’s will become one of its two future tenants.
