Lyfe Kitchen, the healthy restaurant at the District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, closed on Monday. The restaurant that opened in 2014 with the motto “Love Your Food Every day” featured good-for-you food that included separate menus for vegetarians and vegans, a gluten-free diet, and of course omnivores. An herb wall contained 25 herbs from the menu including basil, lemongrass, marjoram, and more.
Replacing it? SkinnyFats, which plans to renovate the space for a summer 2018 opening, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Back in February, SkinnyFats, the home of a healthy or “live happy” menu choices, announced plans to take over a 4,317-square-foot former Bank of Nevada at 221 N. Stephanie St.
The RJ also reports that the Dean Martin Drive location plans to double in size with a brewery and taproom, slated to open in 2019. Salt Lake City and Dallas locations are also on the docket.
