The fourth local expansion for nationwide candy specialists It’Sugar wants to make an eye-catching statement when it debuts at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops later this year.

Debuting a showcase destination for its 75-plus nationwide stores at the Grand Canal Shoppes in 2012, the candy store has since expanded locally to Town Square and Downtown Summerlin.

The Grand Bazaar store hopes to stand out by creating a huge gumball machine sign for its front entrance. Future shoppers will enter through the slot where a gumball would normally exit.

An estimated constriction budget of $1 million has already been set aside to remodel a former Lindbergh fashion store facing Marash Ice Cream, but no timetable for an arrival has been announced.

It’Sugar specializes in stocking an enormous array of sugary selections, nostalgic favorites, novelty gifts and giant, over-sized candy products.

Next for the Grand Bazaar, even more sweet choices. California’s Chocolate Chair is now under construction on the southern side of the retail hub, preparing to serve liquid nitrogen ice cream and its famous “dragon breath’ dessert.
