Urban Turban, the Indian restaurant on Paradise Road, converts into Juicy Beets with a vegan and vegetarian menu and a soundtrack of deep house music.
Owners Jasmine and Bhushan Arolkar partnered with Tino Gomez, the house music deejay, on the new project.
A menu of organic juices for $7 to $11, organic hand-crafted cocktails, and a full range of organic wines and spirits sit behind the bar.
Vegan dishes include an organic meatless burger for $15, vegan hot dog for $9, wok-tossed okra for $9, chili cauliflower for $9, and clay oven-baked mushrooms for $9. Quinoa bowls from $12 to $16 feature smoked spinach, lentils, potato vindaloo, and butter royal organic cauliflower.
Urban Turban, in the meantime, plans to continue to deliver Indian dishes such as chicken tikka masala, Himalayan chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, and chicken biryani, all with basmati rice and a salad.
Urban Turban originally opened in 2015.
