First announced last September, two new ventures headed to the westside’s Village Square retail center are promising they are “so close to opening.”
Taking over the shaded corner space of Suite 130, located next door to Bachi Burger, Santa Monica’s Enso boba tea bar will join newcomer Tomo Noodles & Dumplings.
Created by Dillon Berkabile and Kim and Josh Killian, names behind projects like Bowlology, Panacea, and Acai To The T, Tomo will feature gyoza, soup dumplings, ramen, and Asian fried donuts.
Enso’s casual counter-service menu in California features milk, punch, and ”classic” teas, a wide range of slushes, plus acai bowls and smoothies including items found at Bowlology’s five Las Vegas locations.
Also headed to the Village Square, the “semi-organic, preservative-free, naturally gluten-free and GMO free” dishes of Grabbagreen, now under construction next door to Yojié Japanese Fondue and a few steps from Jollibee.
