MANDARIN ORIENTAL — That mystery buyer of the luxury property at the middle of the Strip? None other than Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria. The luxe brand takes over the 392-room resort sans a casino in August. Back in April, a mystery buyer shelled out $214 million in cash to buy the resort from CityCenter Holdings LLC. The sale included Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, MOZen Bistro, Mandarin Bar, spa, meeting space, and 57 suites inside the 47-story hotel. [LVRJ]
