Since announcing his first restaurant in Las Vegas, Los Angeles-based chef Roy Choi has kept the name of his debut under wraps. Choi, who got his start with the gourmet food truck Kogi, plans to open at the Park MGM later this year.
An interview with Bloomberg attached a name to the highly anticipated project, dubbing the restaurant. “Best Friend.” A space with that name is confirmed to be on the way to the Park MGM, but has yet to be announced by Choi.
Back in January, the famed L.A.-based restaurateur promised the venture “will feel like Ktown when you walk in and I plan on filling the casino with stinky delicious smells and lots of double dipping. Ha.”
